Our new biomedical project SEAMS (ophthalmology) celebrated it's Kick Off meeting today. SEAMS stands for Smart, Easy and Accurate Minimally invasive Glaucoma Surgery. 
The project leader of this project, Henny Beckers, MD, PhD (Eyeclinic, Maastricht UMC+)  aims for an improved treatment for Glaucoma patients. Together with our founding fathers TU/e and Maastricht UMC+ and external partners as Oftavinci Research, InnFocus, A Santen Company and Materiomics, the SEAMS consortium is dedicated to improve the quality of life of glaucoma patients.
